01The controls
Three controls. Try them here.
This is the handlebar of a jet ski. Snap the cap on, hold the start button for 3 seconds, then pull the throttle and let it go, and watch the craft answer on the water below.

Start here: snap the tether cord cap onto the cut-off switch in the middle.
- 02 · Engine cut-offThe engine cut-off switch is in the middle of the handlebar. The tether cord cap must be snapped securely onto it before the engine will start.
- 01 · Engine start/stopThe engine START/STOP button is on the left handlebar. Press and hold it for 3 seconds to turn the jet ski on.
- 03 · Throttle leverThe throttle lever on the right handlebar controls engine speed. Pull it with your finger to go faster or hold speed; release it to slow down. It is spring-loaded and returns to idle when you let go.

Operator and passengers must wear protective clothing: the lower half of a wetsuit, or heavy, densely woven, close-fitting clothing that gives equal protection. Shoes, gloves and safety glasses or goggles are a good idea; light, flexible foot protection is recommended.
